Frigidaire Dishwasher HD Error Code: What It Means & What to Check
If your Frigidaire dishwasher is showing HD, it usually isn’t a “hard failure” the way some error codes are. On many Frigidaire models, HD indicates a Heat Delay or Heater On mode — meaning the dishwasher is pausing or extending the cycle to get the water to the correct temperature for cleaning and (often) sanitizing.

3) Avoid opening the door mid-cycle
